Sunbelt Electric has an extensive and detailed Safety Program to establish compliance with the applicable regulations and provide the best safe practices to ensure the health of our employees. A copy of the Safety Program is available upon request.

In addition to this training, Sunbelt conducts weekly safety meetings with all employees to raise safety awareness. General Foremen Safety Meetings are conducted on a quarterly basis to review incidents and update safety training.
Sunbelt Electric Safety Awards
- SUNBELT Safety Bucks Program
Field employees can earn Safety Bucks by meeting their safety goals each quarter. SUNBELT Safety Bucks are also rewarded to employees observed demonstrating safe behaviors. The SUNBELT Safety Bucks can be used to purchase merchandise from the Sunbelt Store. - Safety Suggestion Contest
On a semi-annual basis, Sunbelt Electric has a Safety Suggestion Contest. Each entry with a bona fide safety suggestion earns a Sunbelt T-shirt. The best Safety Suggestion entry in each department wins a travel voucher for a free vacation. - Safety Calendar Contest
Annually, Sunbelt Electric has a Safety Calendar contest. The children of Sunbelt employees can submit their “safety” artwork, and the winning entries are published in the Sunbelt Safety Calendar. Age categories are 6 to 9 years and 10 to 14 years old. - Injury Management
Sunbelt is committed to ensuring employees who are injured the best resources to rehabilitate themselves. Sunbelt does it’s best to provide meaningful temporary alternative work for injured employees. In addition, we make our best efforts to ensure injured employees receive the best medical care available to them.
